Absolutely. Each Pet Care Specialist has passed a background check and has been trained specifically for the Pet Care Industry. We also provide ongoing training in pet health/safety, pet behavioral and dog handling.

We take care of all kinds of pets! This can include, but is not limited to, birds, fish, turtles, hamsters, chickens, etc.

For our dog walking clients, invoices are sent via our online software Time to Pet every Monday to your email and app; Payment is due within 5 days of receiving the invoice or your credit card will be charged. For vacation services, a 50% non refundable deposit is due upon the booking of services to reserve your spot on our schedule; The remaining 50% balance is due a week prior to the start of services. You may choose to pay using your credit card on file through the online software (subject to a 4% credit card convenience fee). Or, you may choose to pay via cash, check, or Venmo (subtracting the 4% credit card convenience fee).

Once you have already submitted our new client forms and are established as a client with us, you can take advantage of our scheduling system Time to Pet . You have the option of submitting visit requests on Time to Pet, or you may email requests to us at TailsNWhiskersPS@gmail.com .

For our clients with keys to access the home, we require a lockbox to be set up at your home in which your key will remain safely secured. For our clients with door/garage codes, a lockbox is not required. All key/lockbox locations and door/garage codes are kept securely within our online software; only your pet sitters will have access to this information.

Upon the completion of each service, you will receive a detailed visit report from your Pet Care Specialist via our online software/app Time to Pet. Visit reports will include a personalized message from your pet sitter, pictures/video of your pet taken throughout the visit, start/end times for each visit, and GPS tracking to show walking routes taken (if applicable). Whether you’re at work, enjoying a day/night out, or on vacation, you can rest assured that we will be there to care for your pet(s) while providing you with updates along the way!

We cannot guarantee exact specific timing for visits due to the possibility of unexpected delays (e.g., traffic, construction, having to spend more time at a prior visit than anticipated, etc.). However, we do have time blocks in which you can schedule visits/services so we can maintain your pet(s) normal routines as much as possible.

Our time blocks include:

• Morning (7am-9am)
• Late Morning (9am-11am)
• Midday (11am-2pm)
• Afternoon (2pm-4pm)
• Evening (4pm-7pm)
• Bedtime (8pm-9pm)
• Overnights (6pm-7am)

It is beneficial for your pet(s) to keep their routine as close to what they are used to when you’re home. We offer various types of services to accommodate your individual needs. Is your dog used to short potty breaks and playtime? Schedule a 20-minute visit with us! If your dog enjoys longer walks, we also offer 30-minute visits, 45-minute visits, and 60-minute visits!

At your complimentary Meet & Greet, one of our team leads will come out to meet you and your pet(s) in your home. During this time, the team member will ensure that you have our software downloaded and that yours and your pet(s) profiles are filled out correctly with as much detail as possible. This is the perfect time to go over any behavioral quirks, medications, routines, etc.

Once this portion is completed, the team member will join you in a tour of the home to see where everything is located. You may notice the team member jotting some additional notes to enter into our system that they find would be helpful to other team members as you chat and show them around.

Our pet sitters travel to your home to care for your pet(s). Pets are most comfortable in their own environment, and this allows for little disruption to their normal routine! We do not offer boarding in our own homes at this time.
