Amanda is our Client Relations Manager, and has grown up with animals her entire life, so she has a passion for caring for them. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in psychology and criminology from Florida Southern College, and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in criminology at the University of Tampa. She rescued and trained her own service dog, and also has a cat at home. She has been in the pet care industry for six years, and has been volunteering at animal shelters since she was 16.

Cathryn is one of our Team Leads and has worked with and around animals her entire life. She grew up on a small farm and had 25+ animals at one time, including mini ponies, sheep, goats and pigs. She lives in Downingtown with her fiance, two kids, husky and four cats. She loves to go snowboarding and shopping and to cuddle with her kitties. Cathryn loves getting to meet new pets every day!

Anitra is one of our pet sitters who was born and raised in West Chester. She went to Fern Hill Elementary, Pierce Middle School, and Henderson high school. She currently also works for Penn Medicine working from home. She lives with her mom and the love of her life, her dog Louie. He’s 15 years old and she’s so happy to have him in her life. When she’ not working she likes to online shop and spend time with friends in Delaware. To her, working for Tails N Whiskers doesn’t feel like “work” because she loves animals. Each client she has she treats as her own as she is protective of her dog.
She treats them like family!

Chandler is one of our pet sitters; he has a black dog named Morticia and a tuxedo cat named Sammy. He spends most of his free time barefoot hiking and fishing. He used to work at the SPCA helping take dogs off the airplanes so they could find their forever home. He’s so excited to meet your furry friend/friends!

Charlotte is a retired chemical engineer originally from Belgium, having lived on three continents and fluent in multiple languages. She is a dedicated French teacher, an animal warrior, and a loving mom to both her two-legged and four-legged family members. Passionate about animal rescue, she fostered senior dogs and volunteers in animal welfare efforts. A devoted vegan-vegetarian food lover, Charlotte hopes to make a difference in the lives of animals and people alike. As a strong advocate for positive reinforcement in dog training, she ensures your dogs will not only get physical exercise but also engage in mental stimulation. 

Gina is a junior at West Chester University and she’s studying pharmaceuticals. She is originally from Bucks County but she loves living in West Chester. She has a lot of experience with animals and loves working with them. At home she has five pets— 2 dogs (Roxy and Rudy) and 3 cats (Lucy, Bandit, and Jax). The hardest thing about being away at school was not being able to see her pets, so she’s very excited to be able to work with Tails and Whiskers so she can be around animals again. She’s looking forward to meeting your pets and can’t wait to take care of them! 

Hailey is one of our lead pet sitters from Middletown, New York. She moved to West Chester a little over a year ago to attend West Chester University and ever since then she fell in love with the area. She grew up in a big family, with four younger siblings and lots of pets including; dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, hamsters, lizards, you name it! She has always had a passion for working with and being around all sorts of animals. She is going to college to expand her love for animals and become an Animal Psychologist. In addition, she has had years of experience being a pet sitter/dog walker and has always loved meeting new furry friends and building an unbreakable friendship!

Jordan, one of our pet sitters, is a sophomore in college majoring in Animal Science. Ever since she was a kid, she has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, which led her to attend an agricultural high school where she gained hands-on experience working with a variety of animals. She currently has a dog, a bunny, and two hamsters, and her love for animals has only grown over the years. Beyond her passion for animal care, she also loves to sing, which has always been a creative outlet for her. She considers herself a passionate, kindhearted leader who is dedicated to making a difference, both in the lives of animals and those around her.

Kim is an enthusiastic and dedicated pet sitter who loves all kinds of animals, especially dogs. She has experience handling a wide variety of energy levels and temperaments. From laid back couch dogs to anxious and high energy,
Kim is looking forward to getting to know your pets!

isa is so happy to be a member of the Tails N Whiskers team! She’s always been a huge supporter of small businesses having been raised by an independent business owner, as well as worked for and run a quite a few throughout much of her career. She was born and raised in Chester County, only straying to Manhattan for 10 years to attend college and work as a nanny. She has always had a cat or two by her side. Two of them currently live with her in Malvern who came to her via the universal cat distribution system. When she’s not taking care of all of your adorable pets she can be found practicing yoga and handstands, attending concerts, traveling, making jewelry, and seeking out fun vintage finds!

Maddie is a pet lover with a soft spot for both dogs and cats. She has an adorable cat named Minnie who’s always stealing the spotlight. She lives in Downingtown and loves caring for pets while their owners are away. When she’s not hanging out with Minnie, you’ll probably find her planning her next vacation, out with friends, or walking around Disney World. She’s always excited to meet new pets and help make their time without you as comfortable as possible!

Melissa, mom of three, graphic designer, triathlete, and lover of all the critters. It is the highlight of her day to step away from my desk or dial down her training and just walk her dog. Be present. Her and her family were a rescue foster family for several years and helped a little more than a dozen pups find their forevers. She is currently under the care of Milo the dog and Daphne the cat, but she’s always trying to talk her husband into an additional fur family member! It’s her privilege to be present with your loves and keep them company until you come home!

Mia is a recent undergraduate, working full time with aspirations to be a physician assistant. She is always up for a new adventure! She enjoys the outdoors, festivals, time with friends and family, and, of course, animals. Along with growing up with 2 dogs, 2 cats and lots of fish, she has years of experience training service dogs, customer service and working with dogs of all ages. Currently with no pets herself, she takes great pleasure in her time with your pets. As a medical assistant, lifeguard and pet sitter, she knows how busy life can get so she is always eager to help care and look after your wonderful pets. Seeing their smiling faces makes her day!

Rachel is a full time mom and part time pet sitter for us! She lives in Downingtown with her husband and 2 beautiful children. She grew up with cats and has 3 of her own! When she is not pet sitting for us and has a break from being an awesome mom, she enjoys a glass of wine or being pampered at the nearest nail salon!

Meet Shannon! Born and raised in Chester County, she now gets to raise her own family in the same wonderful community. Shannon has been a dedicated nurse for nearly 20 years, bringing compassion and care to everything she does. When she’s not working with us part-time, you can find her spending time with her family, taking care of their dog, chickens, and ducks, or tackling projects around the house. We’re so lucky to have her on our team!
